In domestic interbank transactions, viewing the MCC code of the transaction can serve as the main basis for merchant settlement; It is also one of the important basic data for conducting industry analysis and reporting on UnionPay card transactions, as well as risk management and control of UnionPay card business. MCC code composition The merchant code consists of four parts, with the first three digits being the institution code; Last four digits: region code; Next four digits: Merchant type (MCC code); Last four digits: Merchant sequence number; For example, 887 58D7 5812 3037, this string of numbers refers to the merchant number.
